This is easily the best song in Final Fantasy VI/III. I remember listening to this song over and over just because it was so good. When fighting bosses make sure that you have a good physical fighter and magic user. Some good characters to bring are Locke, Edgar, Sabin, and Gogo. Locke is always good to have around to steal rare items from bosses. If you use lore bring Strago. Against really hard bosses that you do not want to level up for, you can always use the vanish and doom trick to beat them.

Through the whole game, up until that point, I kept expecting to, and wanting to fight Kefka’s side kick as a boss battle, and then that happened. That was the best climax of the game.

While Gestahl undoubtedly wished to rule the world, he did not wish to do so if it meant killing off the entire population, as the statues did for Kefka. Gestahl’s obvious desire to keep humanity intact was not out of compassion or reverence for the rarity of human life. Rather, it was because he wanted subjects to rule, else his reign would have been for nothing.

And why have Kefka fighting Terra’s team at the end of the game, instead of Gestahl? If Kefka were the sidekick, that would have made the climax on the floating continent even better.
