One of the final songs in Secret of Mana, the battle with Dark Lich. This boss battle is unique in that most of the boss themes play the same song, but Dark Lich has own theme before you take on the Mana Beast. Boss music from Squaresoft seems to always be recognizable even after several years. Like the other boss battles, you should stick with casting magic like Lucent Beam and stay away from this hands when he fades aways. If his hands stun your characters unconscious, they will be unable to move for a while. Quickly wake them up with a medicinal herb because his hands can continue to attack your characters while they are stunned.

Most videogames of today have lame music, poor story, tried and true boring gameplay, too many sequels, and little to no 4player splitscreen. What happened to 4 player fighting games like Power Stone or the streets of rage like games or unique rpgs like xenogears (PS1) and secret of mana. Road Rash 64 was one of the funniest and entertaining games ever.

[..YouTube..] Chrono Trigger’s music is pretty overrated, I think Secret of Mana and Lufia series tracks spank it. Gameplay wise, Trigger wins by a tad! This games weapon and magic system is highly addictive.
