The fast and hard-hitting introduction is the strongest part of the song. This pulls you into the battle. The baseline is pretty heavy and I love strong base. Once again you cannot go wrong with boss music. Especially when it comes from Square. The boss fights were so easy in the Secret of Mana. All that you had to do was constantly cast magic against the boss’s elemental weakness. You do not even need to use weapons. Just stand back and let your magic do the talking. This made boss fights incredibly easy.

“The boss fights were so easy in the Secret of Mana”
I disagree. I remember there was a wall with eyes, and a wolf near the start of the game, that had me stumped for days - nay - weeks on end.
Of course, taht was before you got the magic, so yeah once you got that, then you were plain sailing
[..YouTube..] 1:15-1:35 is the winner.
[..YouTube..] The song’s called “Danger”. Even if you could find it on VGMusic, it’d only be a crappy MIDI–this is the real thing (albeit low quality), so it’s much better.
[..YouTube..] Hear this music —> You’re f***ed now
[..YouTube..] This music = Equip The Mana Sword, Restore All Magic, Use analysis then attack it with all it’s weaknesses.
[..YouTube..] I cannot thank you enough.
[..YouTube..] @Piasmaffia: No prob, man. That site is awesome, all kinds of Secret of Mana stuff, a great site for a great game.
[..YouTube..] @devilboy: Glad I could help.
[..YouTube..] Whoah… that song rocks xDMy favourite music during the whole game!
[..YouTube..] mana es lo mejor
[..YouTube..] I love this song so much. It’s my favorite boss music.
[..YouTube..] thank you very much for the upload! I love this song and have yet to been able to purchase it via OST or something.
[..YouTube..] this song is so awsome that im going to put it on while ill do the sweet love with my wife! Keep on rocking!!
[..YouTube..] lmao that is fresh!
[..YouTube..] le bon vieux temps…une musique classique même dans 50 ans…
[..YouTube..] as weird as that was and the fact i really didnt need to know that i agree rguardlessthis i my fav boss theme for all the seiken deisetsu games
[..YouTube..] someone should do a rocked out version of this! i’d buy that cd.. probably
[..YouTube..] DANGER
[..YouTube..] check out kurikinton fox. HOLY SHIT, does that guy rock out.
[..YouTube..] Wow. I haven’t played this classic in years… Kudos, to ‘constantlimit’ for posting it.
[..YouTube..] I cannot listen to this song with a straight face anymore
[..YouTube..] I’ve always loved this theme
[..YouTube..] as soon as i hear this song i picture the boss at the witches castle. the one that is a tiger/armadillo and eats you if you get to close
[..YouTube..] My favorite part was 1:15-1:35.
[..YouTube..] Same here, it’s like a boss fight starting bad but then things get better
[..YouTube..] Agreed…That part rocks!
[..YouTube..] *Stomps a mudhole in the bosses ass then walks it dry*
[..YouTube..] yeah that was a pain me and my friend beat that boss a few days ago
[..YouTube..] It really gets your blood pumping when you’re playing this game to hear those 20 seconds.
[..YouTube..] This song makes you think, “Oh shit!! The boss, how do we fight it?!?!”It’s so fastpaced and filled with quick decisiveness!
[..YouTube..] hahaha…thats exactly the feeling i had as a kid playing this. lol
[..YouTube..] The middle of this song is kick ass but after the first few seconds it gets even better, I remember fighting bosses like the ant, spikey, and the plant guy in the under ground cave where you get the axe, and when I see the boss I’m all like *Stomps a mudhole in boss’s ass and walks it dry*Sit down!
[..YouTube..] This has always been a childhood favourite of mine. Over ten years ago I was scouring the internet trying to find even just a MIDI of it (because back then finding the real thing seemed out of the question). It’s no worse for wear after all these years–it’s still an absolutely outstanding song.
[..YouTube..] Does anyone know the actually name of this song, and if there are any available remakes of it out on the web?
[..YouTube..] in case no one has mentioned it yet, this clip only has the left or right channel of the song. I don’t remember the song sounding weird like this.
[..YouTube..] I was more like…”AHSGHAHSGAAAAAAH!!! *PANIC PANIC PANIC*”Until that “heroic part” comes in, thats when you get to feel like a superhero
[..YouTube..] jeah^^
[..YouTube..] Spam magic and stop whining!
[..YouTube..] “danger”
[..YouTube..] i think this whole song is structured to flow with a boss battle. the start makes you nervous and scared and tries to get you to act quickly because its dangerous, it then becomes more awe inspiring as you work out what to do and unleash some of the attacks like the spells. Amazing I never though of it that way before…
[..YouTube..] 1 of my favorite songs from the game
[..YouTube..] Why is most of the music in the left speaker?
[..YouTube..] this brings back so many memories. I love this song!
[..YouTube..] I love the drums to this, im actually trying to incorporate the drums into a song but cant find a tab for it anyway, plz reply with a link if u know
