If you are new the video game scene, you might not know who Pit is. 
I am here to present a historical background on where Pit came from and how he wound up in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Pit is the famous winged warrior that dates from the mythologocial period who fought the snake-haired and stone-gazing Medusa. The flying champion donned a pair of wings and carried a bow resembeling an angel or Cupid.
If you had an NES then you probably remember Pit from his other moniker as Kid Icarus. If you played this game back then, you should remember this video:
The best part about Super Smash Bros. is how they draw their character pool from several years of gaming history. This game has some major star power in it and includes even their robo mascot R.O.B., which makes an appearance after so many years of absence.
Kid Icarus was an awesome and chanllenging game. In order for Pit to power up for the final battle with Medusa, he had to collect hearts which served as money in the game. With these hearts, Pit could buy weapons like flaming arrows, potions, and hammers. I remember the dungeons in this game were akin to Zelda where it was like maze and you had to navigate around it like a map. One part I liked is how you could use the hammers to release soldiers trapped in stone to help you fight the dungeon boss. Seeing Pit return to Nintendo is great seeing how he, like R.O.B, has been so absent for so long. Now all you new gamers know where Pit came from. So let us get ready to smash and brawl!

Hey nice site you have. Anyways I just thought I’d chat about some new chess software I found lately. Its called Chess Analysis Pro 7000. Its very good in analyzing your chess games for blunders. It also track’s your chess ratings. I liked the little book that came with it too. Yes I’d recommend this item. Kasparov always analyzed his own games too.

DURING GAMEPLAY IN THE WII PIT IS AWESOME WITH HIS LASER ARROWS AND DUAL BLADES SPIN MOVES AND FLYING ABOVE ENEMIES HE ROCKS.
