Does anyone remember the gun for the SNES? I had one and I was really into Battle Clash and Metal Combat at the time. The NES had the Zapper for Duck Hunt and Gumshoe. For the SNES, their add-on accessory, the Super Scope 6 was a lot different than the Zapper.

The Super Scope 6 did not take off as well as planned for a few reasons:
- Eye piece caused repetitive eye strain/squinting
- Drains batteries rather quickly
- Low game selection
Despite these reason I still found the Super Scope 6 to be a blast.
It looks like Nintendo returned to NES Zapper with their Wii:
This is pretty much the NES Zapper again:
At least this time there are no more issues with having the use the eye piece anymore. I guess the SS6 did not work out so the Wii can always follow the NES.
