I just found a great plugin for your Wordpress blog. You may have had problems embedding YouTube videos into your blog posts. I did and found the perfect solution. If you are currently hosting a blog on your site like I am, you may have found that you cannot use the following notation to embed YouTube videos into your blog:
This code works only if you have your blog at http://www.wordpress.com, but not if it is not your site. I just tried out this plugin that allows you to use that simple bracket code.
Get this amazing plugin here, called Youtube Brackets:
If you are new the video game scene, you might not know who Pit is. I am here to present a historical background on where Pit came from and how he wound up in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Pit is the famous winged warrior that dates from the mythologocial period who fought the snake-haired and stone-gazing Medusa. The flying champion donned a pair of wings and carried a bow resembeling an angel or Cupid.
If you had an NES then you probably remember Pit from his other moniker as Kid Icarus. If you played this game back then, you should remember this video:
Does anyone remember the gun for the SNES? I had one and I was really into Battle Clash and Metal Combat at the time. The NES had the Zapper for Duck Hunt and Gumshoe. For the SNES, their add-on accessory, the Super Scope 6 was a lot different than the Zapper.

I was flipping through some old issues of Nintendo Power and found some images of our little robo buddy. I heard he will be one of the characters on Super Smash Brothers Brawl which is great. Click on the image below to see it in full-size.
I uploaded this great song from the Playstation (PSX) game, Brave Fencer Musashi. It is called Skullpion and this one of the bosses that you fight in the game.
Check out my playlist on YouTube for more music from Brave Fencer Musashi.
One of my favorite features about YouTube is the ability to create playlists from your favorite videos. This is perfect for the music lover who wants to listen to music on YouTube. Playlists allow you to group your favorite videos into categories that will play every single video in it automatically. I have used this feature to create playlists for my video game music.
You can just start a playlist in a browser and just leave it their while you do something else on your computer. Since you mainly listen to music instead of watching it, playlists are great as you can just leave them on without having to go to the next song manually. So there is no need to constantly switch to YouTube to advance to the next song. The back-and-forth with YouTube and what you are doing has been eliminated. With this hassle removed, YouTube is the ultimate music site with its video database growing every single day.
Nintendo has decided that older Wii gamers should have a chance to relive the days where the NES ruled the video game scene. This also allows the newer generation to experience how Nintendo all started. As a fan of video game nostalgia, I find this to be a welcome addition to the Wii. Being able to replay those old games once again is a great way to relive your past. It is very important for gamers to understand video game history and how its evolution has lead to the creation of today’s next generation games. Of course, these Virtual Console games are not free and must be bought using Wii points.
During the ’80s the NES ruled and the video game world was only 8-bits large. Back then, video game music had to be catchy because of the lack of sophstication that exists today. If you had Megaman II like me, then you will probably remember this song. Thankfully, with the Virtual Console on the Wii, many of today’s generation will be able to enjoy what we once had before. I know that music has evolved over time, but one thing remains the name. Music will never sound like this again.
Feel free to check out my ever growing list of music from all your favorite games back in the day. I have a lot of 8/16-bit stuff that I am sure a lot of people into nostalgia will enjoy.
Music List:
Battle Clash
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy (IV, VI, VII, MQ)
Megaman (1-6, X)
Metal Combat
Secret of Mana
Sonic (2)
Sparkster (SNES)
Super Mario RPG
This is the boss music in Final Fantasy IV (II) when you fight against the elementals. This version of the song is from the Super Nintendo (SNES). One of my favorite songs from Final Fantasy IV (II). I used to pause the game and just let the music play in the background. Creating a save spot right before you encounter an elemental will allow you to listen to this song whenever you want. Boss music seems to always sound good in every game. I guess they are just trying to get your riled and pumped up for that big fight.
